Hi, I'm Alexia — the founder, formulator, and sole jar-filler at Alexia's Body Butter.

01 · The Problem

I couldn't find what I was looking for.

Like most people who actually read ingredient lists, I kept hitting the same wall. Product after product — beautiful packaging, premium prices, and a back label full of chemicals I couldn't pronounce.

I didn't want a laboratory formula or a synthetic quick-fix. I just wanted something completely natural I could put on my skin without second-guessing a single word on the label. That product didn't seem to exist.

02 · The Discovery

So I made it myself.

After completing an aromatherapy course in 2021, I started experimenting in my kitchen. Researching ingredients, adjusting ratios, blending essential oils — until one formula stopped me in my tracks.

Organic shea butter. Cold-pressed coconut oil. Sweet almond oil. And the perfect combination of cedarwood, geranium, lavender and rosemary. A texture that melts on contact. Skin that stays soft all day. I used it every single day — with the best ingredients I could find, because I deserved nothing less.

03 · The Brand

Then my friends got involved.

I started sharing jars with the people closest to me. They came back for more. Then their friends did. I remember the exact moment it clicked — this wasn't just a recipe I'd made for myself anymore.

That's how Alexia's Body Butter was born. Every batch is still handmade in Adelaide, in small quantities, with the exact same formula I created in 2021. No factory. No shortcuts. No compromises.
